My wife, Dea, and I have stayed at this wonderful B&B somewhere around 12 times. Each time it gets better - which is hard - because it was awesome the very first time. There is much to do in the area very close by:
- Tubing in the Guadelupe River
- Shopping in Gruene (I can’t keey her away from it - and I try!)
- Wonderful pool and hottub right there at the B&B!
- Incredible views of the river
- Extremely well-groomed grounds
- Grist Mill Restaurant is a must - so is The Huisache Grill !!!
The only real complaint I have is Dea’s shopping - but she’s not complaining : )

Thanks again for a delightful stay. My mom had a wonderful time and we thoroughly enjoyed our room and the beautiful surroundings of your place. It was truly a fabulous time with mom. It was a pleasant surprise to be in the home of fellow believers. We will do our best to try and make it back for the holidays. Thanks again for a lovely memory!

We just celebrated our 13th Anniversary with a trip to this amazing “little piece of heaven on earth”. It is just the most peaceful place we have ever been. God is truly present at this BEAUTIFUL, WARM, INVITING home of George and Judy.
We plan to make this our “anniversary place” — I am also planning a “girls trip” for my mom and sisters and plan to stay here.
Thanks for your great hospitality and for sharing your place with others!!
Blessings Always!

My husband suprised me for my birthday by taking me to this wonderful B&B. We had the Lilycott Cottage and it was not only very peaceful but romantic. The grounds were serene and with the sounds of nature surrounding you, a most tranquil place.
Our first time, but definitely not our last.
We will be back…..thank you George & Judy.

We loved staying at the Lamb’s Rest Inn. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast was great! (and the choc. chip cookies)
We spent hours out on the deck watching rafters while we read.
San Marcos shopping is close by as well as the fun little town of Gruene.
The River Tea Room was absolutely delicious as well as the Grist Mill. Highly recommended.
We plan to return to this delightful inn.

We just returned from a visit at the Lamb’s Rest Inn. This B & B is superb. If surpasses any and all other B & B’s we have visited. We are certain to return and will bring friends. The grounds are inviting and serene. The cottage were we stayed was so comfortable and appealing to the senses that we could have just stayed in and never wandered to the nearby quaint towns and shops. The innkeepers make you feel like longtime friends and provide 4 star service and breakfast. This is an A+ in every way.

My husband and I honeymooned here in June ‘08. We stayed in the Quilly’s Antiques room. I have been longing to come back ever since we left! This was our very first time ever staying at a B&B and we will never stay at a different B&B in New Braunsfel! The view from our room was phenominal, and the hospitality was truly 5 star! We had an amazing couples massage right there at the B&B and we enjoyed our gourmet breakfast every morning with the other guests. We hope to be back again soon in the same beautiful room!

We just returned from our first visit to Lambs Rest Inn. I say first because we will be back! This was our first time at a B&B and we loved it! The grounds were amazing! I spent hours sitting on the deck by the river reading and watching the birds, deer, squirrels, and turtles. So relaxing! The breakfast was wonderful and we met some very nice people. We stayed in the Buttercup Farm Suite. It was only my husband and I and although we did not need the extra space, (it was the only one available when we booked) we loved it. It was so quaint. Everytime I turned around I saw something else delightful. We even had a back door. The view from our window was amazing, and we had our own little porch area overlooking the gardens which I loved. We can’t wait to come back! Hope to see you soon!
